Hamish has ten years experience in Chile working in the area of international business. Firstly employed as commercial manager for a New Zealand mining company, and then as an entrepreneur and consultant.
Hamish has hands on experience with CORFO (The Chilean Economic Development Agency) and his consultancy and other relevant experience include various business sector research projects within the private sector covering areas such as food value chain technology and energy resources.
As a consultant to NZTE Santiago, Hamish was entrusted with the responsibility to create four Chilean business sector overviews for the P4 Roadshows held in New Zealand during November, 2005. These business sectors, namely Food & Agriculture Technology, Forestry, Aquaculture, and Energy and Waste management, included the latest statistical information, case studies and opportunities for New Zealand companies desiring to enter into the Chilean market using the P4 Agreement as leverage.
Hamish’s valued and practical advice has helped to provide a risk adverse path for many New Zealand and other international companies to access the Chilean market.


Justin holds an international business degree.  His work with various New Zealand companies involves identifying possible joint-venture partners, investors and distributors during their commercial visits to Chile. During his time in South America he has been involved with the promotion of  the Les Mills group fitness programs in the Chilean fitness market.
He has also worked as an international business consultant for various Chilean, Argentinean, and Brazilian companies providing timely and accurate market information and professional support.
Justin has a valid reputation for his intuitive match-making and business liaison capacities.


Barney is the General Manager of P4 NZ Ltd, the New Zealand office of P4 Consultants Ltda. Barney has a Master of International Business degree, in addition to a BA Honours (first class) in history and Spanish, from the University of Auckland. In 2007, Barney was based in Santiago, where he completed the P4 study on opportunities for New Zealand tourism companies in Chile. Prior to joining P4, Barney worked for several years as a foreign affairs analyst for the New Zealand government, specializing in Latin America. He had previously lived and worked in Mexico.

Marcela graduated from Santiago’s’ AIEP Professional Institute with a degree in Technical Publicity. She is currently studying bilingual public relations at the Pedro de Valdivia University. Her professional internship was carried out in a publicity agency in the area of communications.For over 6 years Marcela was employed by TradeChile in charge of commercial missions, where she was responsible for the planning and organization of foreign commercial missions (inbound & outbound), as well as international seminars and expos.
